During the year 2015, we have initiated projects related to providing support to families and children who have been affected by natural and war disasters. Starting from August 2015 until the end of 2017, as part of the Intervention support program, we have worked on realizing the Project for support of refugee children and families and we have provided support after the floods in Skopje in August and September 2016. SOS Children’s village Macedonia has provided short-term intervention support to 78 families in the flooded areas in the settlements of Chento, Madjari, Indjikovo, Smilkovci, Stajkovci, Popovo Maalo and Brnjarci, by providing humanitarian aid in clothes, shoes for children, bed sheets, hygiene supplies and working tools, along with food and any other form of material aid. We have provided help to 180 children, 40 babies, and 260 adult people, both independently and in cooperation with Red Cross of City Skopje.
