SOS Superheroes live in the SOS world! Be a part of this  humane world.

With this call, SOS Children’s village invites all citizens to wake up the superhero within them and to join in the newest campaign “The world of SOS Superheroes”. By becoming part of this campaign, everyone can donate and provide support to children without parental care and children at social risk which SOS Children’s village has been providing care to, for 18 years,

The aspiration of SOS Children’s village “No child should grow up alone” can become reality with the mere help of good people, provided to people that believe in the work of SOS Children’s villages, as part of our mission and aim, bearing in mind that our aim consists of providing a loving home, happy childhood and everyday life in SOS Children’s village.

Why superhero? Because the children that SOS Children’s village provides care to need a hero, inspiration, and a character they can identify with. Why should this character be You? And, how can all of this be accomplished? Simply, any person who allocates funds within his/her own capacity and donates them online through the website of SOS Children’s village shall be our Superhero, and not just our superhero, because by setting a positive example this person will be a Superhero to all children and adults

The campaign shall last three months, during which the Macedonian humanity can be proven, along with the humanity of this people, which will be widely displayed and You will be able to show and prove your Superpowers “You are a Superhero for the people around you and for those that need you the most. You are a Superhero if you set a positive example, if you provide help… This is why, we the Children’s village, invite: You to be another SOS Superhero!  This is our guide, our idea which is part of the newest campaign of SOS Children’s village – “The world of SOS Superheroes”.

Within this campaign, which primarily will be led through the social networks, we from SOS Children’s village will be in Cineplexx in City Mall three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 18:00 and 20:00 o’clock, where you will have the opportunity to find out more about our work and to make a donation. The citizens had the first opportunity to do this yesterday evening in Cineplexx.

The campaign of SOS Children’s village “The world of SOS Superheroes” calls to IMMEDIATE action,  so that You can be another superhero, and an example to all children and so that you can encourage the humanity in them from the earliest age.

Healthy food and appropriate nutrition are very important for our health. We in SOS Children’s village care about the health and we make an effort to inform the children from the earliest age about the effect the nutrition has on their appropriate growth and development.

For that reason, today, in the premises of the Resource center of SOS Children’s village we hung out with friends from the three kindergartens “13 Noemvri”, “Kocho Racin” and “Rade Jovchevski Korchagin” in the Municipality of Centar. We did some coloring, we had fun, but we ate health fruits and vegetables, because we have learnt that this is very important for our growth.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Centar Mr. Sasha Bogdanovikj visited The Resource center of SOS Children’s village as well, and gave his support in the realization of these activities.

We thank our friends for the beautiful day and we hope that we will have a lot of more mutual hangouts and activities.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child states that children should have special protection in situations when their right to life, survival and development is endangered. In SOS Children’s village the safety of the children is our top priority, and we do everything we can to ensure their safety. However, it is also highly important that they learn to protect themselves and to be safe.

This is why, we are delighted to be able to combine useful and fun and to have the opportunity to learn something useful by hanging out. This time, our friends from Insurance Macedonia helped us to learn how to protect ourselves and to be safe. These days in SOS Children’s village are beautiful experience for the children and our dear friends. The great time spent yesterday was accompanied by a great mood and a lot of educational games. The children had the opportunity to learn to protect themselves and to be safe in the event of a fire, earthquake and flood.

Yesterday we learned that sometimes, in spite of our attention and caution, accidents can happen. But we have also learned how to react appropriately and quickly.

“193 – Hellooo, fire brigade” – the children were carefully and quickly calling the number of the fire brigade, which was part of the first game away from smoke, away from fire.

As part of the second game In safety, we learned how to protect ourselves carefully and by not panicking in case of an earthquake. With the third game Prepare yourself and climb up, we learned the most important things that need to be packed in the event of a flood.

The fourth game Extinguish the fire, was also very interesting and useful. It showed us how important it is to always remain allied and united.

At the end we were all awarded with diplomas for the successfully completed and learnt lesson. We thank Insurance Macedonia for the beautiful day and we’re looking forward to having you as our guest again.
